Meet Our Team

Robert Dubeau is the owner/inspector of The HomeTeam Inspection Service in South Central Wisconsin. Bob, as he prefers to be called, is sometimes referred to as Boston Bob because of his accent from growing up in Portland, Maine. He lives in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, but his accent is still noticeable even though he has lived in the Madison area for over 25 years.

After serving in the military Bob owned and maintained rental properties in Portland, Maine while also working for a contract hardware company where he was an estimator. He also sold building materials for a lumber yard. An employment opportunity with Snap-On Tools brought Bob and his family to Fitchburg, Wisconsin.

Once both of his children were grown, Bob wanted to pursue a career that both emphasized family values and utilized his past experiences, becoming a home inspector fulfilled both of these requirements. Being able to help families achieve their goals of buying a home and educating people about their home were motivating factors in his decision to become a home inspector. Computerized Narrative reporting and a team atmosphere between inspectors drew him to The HomeTeam Inspection Service. Bob enjoys inspecting homes and working alongside his son and teammate, James, in South Central Wisconsin.
